Pastoral Care & Wellbeing

Supporting our students
At St Francis of Assisi, pastoral care and wellbeing form the basis of our Catholic learning community – so that each child is nurtured within a safe, caring atmosphere.

Online Safety and Anti-Bullying Support

At St Francis of Assisi, we do not tolerate bullying in any form – including online. Read more about our school programs, and see our useful links and resources for students and parents/carers.

Positive Behaviours for Learning

Our 'Positive Behaviours for Learning' (PB4L) framework at St Francis of Assisi aims to build a supportive school environment where positive behaviour is promoted through explicit instruction, active supervision and reinforcement-based strategies.

Counselling and other CatholicCare Services

St Francis of Assisi works closely with CatholicCare to ensure the pastoral needs of all students and their families are supported. We aim to be proactive in meeting the social, emotional and spiritual needs of our students.

A CatholicCare school counsellor is available to work with parents and students to support their social and emotional wellbeing.

Parents as Partners in Pastoral Care and Wellbeing

The pastoral care and wellbeing of all members of our community is of the utmost importance at St Francis of Assisi. Parents support this by partnering with the school to maintain a safe, supportive and respectful school environment.
