Student Leadership

At the end of each year, Year 5 students are invited to nominate candidates from their class for the position of School Captains.  The names of the nominated candidates are presented to the Principal and Leadership Team for consideration.  A vote is taken by all primary students after all nominated candidates have placed written nominations and made speeches at a special assembly.  Boy and Girl School Captains and Boy and Girl Vice-Captains are elected by majority of votes.

A similar process applies for the election of four House Captains— Clare (Red), Marguerita (Blue), Francis (Green) and Kolbe (Yellow) Sports Houses. The House Captains support the other Captains in the student leadership of the school.  Each child in the school is placed within one of the four houses.  These groups apply in a variety of situations, such as sports carnivals.
